sleepover – nationwide event

September 27th-28th, 2019

The Nationwide Girls Ministries Sleepover event occurs annually on the fourth Friday and Saturday of September, but it can be held on another night, if that works better for your church. It’s a great way to launch the year and invite guests to church. To plan the event, use these resources, provided by the national Girls Ministries office. It includes a planning timeline, suggestions for activities, decor, and snacks, as well as a spiritual challenge. The event is designed for any church to use. It is a great tool for outreach to the community and includes a salvation message.

Current Theme: Breaking the Code

about

The 2018-19 Nationwide Sleepover event theme is BREAKING THE CODE: Unlock the Mystery. It is based on Romans 8:14 (NIV) “For those who are lead by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”

Throughout the night girls will learn the that there is a divine Counselor and Helper who is eager to lead, encourage, and comfort them.

Girls will also learn about this year’s Coins for Kids project: Wonderfully Made. Through this project girls will help those who are differently abled get what they need, and teach them about how much Jesus loves them!

Check with your Sectional Rep for possible sectional sleepover or ask another church to join you and make new friends.
