Christian Camp, Bahamas
The 2020 Refuel and Powette Missions project is Camp Abaco in the Bahamas.
Hurricane Dorian hit the Bahama Islands in September 2019 leaving behind terrible destruction and devastation. Many lives were lost and thousands of homes and buildings destroyed. Among those was Camp Abaco.
Camp Abaco is an Assemblies of God camp on the Island of Abaco. It hosts youth and kids camps in the summer along with other retreats throughout the year.
It is a place where boys and girls of all ages get to hear the gospel and experience Jesus. Camp is a week of great fun for everyone!
Due to Dorian the camp suffered the loss of several roofs and extensive water damage.
Our desire is to help them rebuild! We want to see buildings restored, things repaired and help clean up however we can!
We want the kids of the Bahamas to be able to look forward to going to camp again! They have been through so much and we want to bring hope!
Join with us in bringing your best offering to Powette 2020! We are asking every person to bring at least $5 to put in Saturday night’s offering! Powette is 2 months away so let’s see what God can do when we ask Him to give us ideas and bless our efforts to help those in need!
