WORKSHOPS
- What are Your “SMARTS”?
Description: For years, people believed that intelligence could only be detected through rigorous testing. But is that the only indicator of the variety of gifts and talents God has given us? This workshop will help you understand the different areas of giftings or talents or “SMARTS” in yourself and others and show you how to use this information in ministry. - Social Media and the Dangers of Human Trafficking
Description: The internet has dramatically reshaped our everyday lives. Today’s technology has enabled everyone who can reach it, including predators. In this workshop learn how trafficking is using social media and what to do about it. - Beyond the box
Description: Reaching girls and their families with the love of Jesus outside the lessons, the books, and the walls of the church. All while allowing Him to shine thru the limitations the world tries to conform us to. What is your heart’s true desire for your girls, their families, and your community? - Cloudy with the Hope of Sonshine
Description: Reports of anxiety, fear, and depression seem to be increasing at alarming rates. Those who experience it struggle to escape its grip while those who want to help struggle with how to help. In Cloudy with the Hope of Sonshine, you will gain insight to a girls’ experience of anxiety, fear, and depression. Most importantly, you will be equipped with practical and Biblical tools for helping girls push back the clouds so the LOVE of GOD can shine in those dark places. - Dealing with the Hard Stuff
Description: Our kids are faced with so many difficult things. We are going to jump headfirst into the topics of homosexuality and gender identity. Desiring to help our girls break free from the lies of the enemy they are being fed. - Technology for the Classroom and Virtual Meetings
Description: In these ever-changing times, as some are not able to meet in person, there is still a big need to stay connected to our girls, parents, and leaders. We are going talk about the various technologies available to us to use not only in the classroom but also virtually. A list of URL’s and tips and tricks will be shared.
